This is the season when the farmer’s markets are bursting with fruits and veggies. The vibrant colors, beach swims, the heat, the refreshing feeling of simple water, coconut, mint and cucumber.
It’s an ultimate punch of senses in the sweetest way.
This is also a time to move away from eating heavy fats and meat and a time to indulge in refreshing foods that lighten that body.
Foods to Avoid:
Alcohol (spirits and red wine can be aggrevating – this does NOT include Rose’ y’all)
Raw Tomatoes + Onions
Red Meat + Egg Yolk
Dairy – no yogurt, hard cheese
No heating foods like chilies, sour tomatoes and honey
Anything fried or excessively oily
What to shop for:
